General Terms
Supplier reserves the right to refuse or cancel booking at any time if you do not meet their renting requirements.
Please ensure that you have your drivers License with you and there are sufficient funds available at your debit or credit card.
Airport shuttle is offered free of charge within office hours (7:00 am – 21:59pm).
If your license was issued outside the country of collection, you must also bring your passport with you when collecting the vehicle.
All additional drivers must meet the same license requirements as the main driver. The first driver is included in the rates but there is a daily charge for each additional driver.

The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for any mechanical faults. If the call out is due to driver negligence, for example lost keys or running out of fuel, the renter will be charged a breakdown call out fee.

NO-SHOW – A failure to collect vehicle prior to your reserved pickup time and date, might incur at minimum a no-show fee.
Vehicle must be returned at or before the expiry of the term of hire and should be returned in the same condition as when rented, normal wear and tear excepted.
You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive.
Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.

Security bond
The supplier requires a security bond when you collect the vehicle.
The security deposit/bond is preauthorized from your credit or debit card.
Cash deposits are not accepted.
Restricted roads /D areas of use
There are certain roads and areas that you cannot drive this vehicle on. Any unpaved roads or off-road driving is prohibited. You will not be insured if you drive on these roads and therefore you will be fully liable for any damage that might occur.
Optional items / extras
1.Special equipment and optional extras may be requested at time of booking but are subject to availability and change without notice.
2.Traffic infringements​
It is your responsibility to cover the cost of any traffic infringements, such as speeding or parking fines or toll evasion, incurred during the rental period. The supplier will charge you a fee to administer any fines.
Age rules
The minimum driver age is 18 years old
A young driver surcharge of EUR 12.00 per day applies to young drivers aged 18, the license must have been held for a minimum of 6 months.
A young driver surcharge of EUR 11.00 per day applies to young drivers aged 19.
A young driver surcharge of EUR 10.00 per day applies to young drivers aged 20.
A young driver surcharge of EUR 7.00 per day applies to young drivers aged between 21 to 25 with a maximum total charge EUR 70.00.
A senior driver surcharge of EUR 7.00 per day applies to senior drivers aged 71 to 75 with a maximum total charge EUR 70.00.
Mileage policy*​
Rates include unlimited mileage.
*To ensure the quality of our vehicles and services A2S has implemented a fair usage policy on all unlimited mileage products. A2S reserves the right to take any necessary action or implement penalties if in A2S opinion, a customer’s usage is deemed excessive/abusive.

Fuel policy
Like for Like Policy: Your vehicle will be supplied with a certain amount of fuel. You will be required to return the car with the same level of fuel that you received the car with. If vehicle is not returned with the same amount of fuel, the supplier will charge you any missing fuel plus a refueling fee of 25EUR.

One-way rentals​
​One-way rentals within Corfu island are permitted, but a one-way service fee will apply.

Driver license rules​
All drivers must carry a valid full license from their country of residence. Driving license printed with non-Latin Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license or official translation. License must be valid for the entire rental period. The license must have been held for a minimum of 6 months.
Further proof of driver identity and address is required, please see full conditions for list of acceptable forms of identification.​

Amendments to bookings​
If you experience any delays, you must contact the office immediately prior to your reserved pickup time. You will not receive a refund if you return the vehicle early, reduce the number
of days on your confirmed reservation or downgrade the vehicle type from the category booked.

Service outside normal business hours​
Out of hours service is available on request. Fees apply for either pick up, drop off or both.

FULL TERMS​
1.Additional Driver​
Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. The daily surcharge per additional driver is 5.00 EUR with a maximum total charge of 50 EUR. The maximum number of additional drivers permitted is 2.

2.After Hours Service​
Office hours are from 8:00am to 09:59pm. Out of office hours pick up and drop off is available from 10:00pm to 11:59pm for a night delivery fee of 25.00 EUR.
Should there be a flight delay, the car hire company will wait for the client until 01:00am, as long as the client informs the car hire company prior to the car pick up.
Deliveries and collections between 12:00am to 06:59am, are at an extra charge of 50.00 EUR.
Please Note: Clients will not receive a refund if they return the vehicle earlier, reduce the number of days on your confirmed reservation or downgrade the vehicle type from the category booked.

3.Late Return​
After 60 minutes of the vehicle’s preagreed return time, a full-day rate is charged plus the late return fee 25 euros.

4.Age Requirements​
The minimum age to rent is 18 for categories MINI, SUPER MINI, OPEN TOP, ECONOMY, COMPACT. For all other categories minimum age to rent is 25 yrs.

5.Cross Border Policy​
Cross Border is restricted.
MAINLAND FEE / FERRY TRANSPORTATION: Allowed only with the prior approval of A2S CORFU CAR RENTAL and provided that the renter has accepted the Ferry Boat Cover. Otherwise, the renter is liable for all damages that may have been caused for any reason to the rented vehicle during its transfer via Ferry, regardless of any coverage and liability restrictions accepted and paid at the start of the rental. The Ferry Boat Cover is with an additional cost of 75€ per rental.

6. STANDARD COVERAGE Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Covers the renter’s liability for damages to the rented vehicle – under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Traffic Law, with a deductible amount of:

1. 650 EUR for car groups: MINI, SUPER MINI, OPEN TOP, ECONOMY.​
2. 790 EUR for car groups: COMPACT, COMFORT, AUTOMATICS, HYBRID, STATION WAGON
3. 1200 EUR for car groups: SUV, VANS (7SEATS, 9 SEATS).​

CDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, during transportation by ferry without prior written authorization by A2S at the time of pick up of the car, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, wheels and tires. If CDW is not included to the Rental Agreement, the renter is liable to pay the total amount of the damages of the rented car. The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances covers will be in effect. If there is a third party involved to an incident, we recommend clients to call the police authorities to the incident. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 40,00 EUR and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver.

Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids​
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover: tire punctures, wheel damage, interior damage, chipped or cracked windshield, wrong fuel, car key damage, radio antenna, undercarriage damage, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, damage from dangerous substances Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire to a third party, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 40,00 EUR and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault. Vehicles returned with stained interior or extremely dirty exterior that cannot be cleaned with normal / common washing, client’s will be charged for minimum 30 to 150 EUR for the biological cleaning of the car. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle is immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.

7.Delivery and Collection​
Delivery and collection is an on-request service. Please send your request prior to your arrival at info@a2s.gr. For deliveries and collections at the Airport (CFU) there is no extra charge during office working hours. For deliveries or collections elsewhere in Corfu, different charges apply automatically, according to the location distance. Also, the company reserves the right to offer a transfer to the client/driver from his location to our central office in Corfu, in order to pick up the car.


8.Inclusive Policy​
TOTAL RENTAL CHARGES INCLUDE UNLIMITED MILEAGE, COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER CDW, THEFT PROTECTION TP, THIRD PARTY LIABILITY, AIRPORT FEE AND VAT. ADDITIONAL PROTECTION
PRODUCTS MAY BE PURCHASED. ALL EXTRA SPECIAL EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTION PRODUCTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE ARE SUBJECT TO AIRPORT FEE AND VAT.

9.Personal Accident Insurance​
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) provides cover for the driver for medical expenses up to 350.00 EUR and 5000.00 EUR for loss of life or total permanent disablement per accident.

10.Forms of Payment​
Renter must use a payment card (credit or debit) at the time of rental in his or her own name.
The following cards are accepted forms of payment:

Visa (Credit and Debit cards).​
MasterCard (Credit and Debit cards).

CREDIT or DEBIT CARD HOLD: The estimated amount of the rental and excess amount plus up to 100EUR will be authorized against your credit/debit card at the time of rental. This amount will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up 30 days to 2 months, depending on your bank, to become available. The Supplier will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. The deposit amount must be taken on a valid credit or debit card. Please enquire at the local branch for details. All cards presented must be in the renters’ name. A security deposit will be blocked to the credit/debit card plus the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit that will be blocked on the card will be released by the cardholder’s bank, upon its notification after vehicle return.
Required deposit amount per car category:

1. 650 EUR for car groups: MINI, SUPER MINI, OPEN TOP, ECONOMY.​
2. 790 EUR for car groups: COMPACT, COMFORT, AUTOMATICS, HYBRID, STATION WAGON
3. 1200 EUR for car groups: SUV, VANS (7SEATS, 9 SEATS).​


Roadside Protection​
Roadside Assistance- Free of charge and available 24/7. Contact phone number of the road assistance indicated to the signed Rental Agreement. and/or provided by the rental agent at the time of the car pickup. It is recommended to contact the branch directly in the event of required roadside assistance. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle is immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.

Renter Requirements​
Driver’s License: The driving license of the driver must be issued at least 3 years prior to rental. A2S can accept a National Driving License if the driver holds a valid driving license from: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & United Kingdom. A2S can accept a National Driving License but with Latin Characters if the driver holds a valid driving license from: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, North Macedonia, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, South Korea, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam & Zimbabwe.
A2S can accept an International Driving License (driver’s valid national driving license must accompany the International Driving license at all times) if the driver holds a valid driving license from: Australia, Canada, Japan, North Korea, United States etc.
A2S can accept a National Driving License if the driver holds a valid driving license from China as long as an English translation form is provided. All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 3 years. Renters carrying a driving license from an EU member state or Switzerland do not require an International Driving Permit. For all other countries a valid International Driving Permit is required along with the national driving license. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation. Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if which needed may include an identity check with an external organization. Upon the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (EU) the requirements for UK Driving license holders driving in EU member states may change. Please check requirements before travelling. PREMIUM COVERAGE
Full Damage Waiver (FDW) is optional and reduces the excess amount on CDW to 50€ for car groups: MINI,SUPER MINI,OPEN TOP, ECONOMY, for car groups: COMPACT,COMFORT,AUTOMATICS, HYBRID, STATION WAGON to 50€, for car groups: SUV, VANS (7SEATS, 9 SEATS) to 150€ – under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code. CDW must be purchased or inclusive for renters to qualify for the purchase of FDW. FDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, Terrorist Attacks, during transportation by ferry without prior written authorization by the company at the time of pick up the car, wheels and tires, damages caused due to violation of traffic laws. The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 40,00 EUR and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault. Vehicles returned with stained interior or extremely dirty exterior that cannot be cleaned with normal / common washing, client’s will be charged for minimum 30 to 150 EUR for the biological cleaning of the car. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle is immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.
GOLD COVERAGE​
Full Damage Waiver (FDW)+ Wheels, Underside, Glass Protection (WUG)​
Full Damage Waiver (FDW)+ Wheels, Underside, Glass Protection (WUG) is optional and reduces the excess amount on CDW to 0. Covers the damages to the underside part of the vehicle, wind shields, mirrors, key locks, the antenna and the damages around the car, during transportation by ferry if the Transportation via ferry insurance purchased at the pickup, wheels and tires. These damages are covered under the condition that are not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code.

Supplemental Liability Protection​
SLP SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION (THIRD PARTY LIABILITY) SLP Third Party Liability is included in the rate and covers each person for the amount of up to EUR 1,220,000 for bodily injury and/or death to third parties as well as up to EUR 1,220,000 for third party property damage.

Theft Protection​
THEFT WAIVER (TW): Covers the rented vehicle against total theft with a
deductible amount of

1. 650 EUR for car groups: MINI, SUPER MINI, OPEN TOP, ECONOMY.​
2. 790 EUR for car groups: COMPACT, COMFORT, AUTOMATICS, HYBRID, STATION WAGON
3. 1200 EUR for car groups: SUV, VANS (7SEATS, 9 SEATS).​


Attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of the personal belongings that were in the vehicle, acts of God and Terrorist Attacks are not covered by any insurance. The car key and the Police Document for the theft vehicle that reported by the driver of the car, should always be presented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. If TW is not including to the Rental Agreement, the renter is liable to pay the value of the rented car.

CANCELATION POLICY
Concerning PREPAID RESERVATIONS: No refund will be given for Cancellations received at any time prior to the rental period. No refund for No-show, or failure from the client to provide a valid driver’s license. Concerning RESERVATIONS TO BE PAID ON THE SPOT: We rely on the courtesy of the client to inform us as soon as possible in case of cancellation or amendment of the reservation. Cancellation of your reservation should be in writing. Please note that telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Note also that the company has the right to request a small amount as a deposit 21 days before the car pick up, in order your reservation to be confirmed and secured.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a Third-Party Provider’s error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

Liability​
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage or for any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

Booking information​
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will confirm your booking and email you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 2% credit card or debit card surcharge can be added when your payment is processed. A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes later. If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure​
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose you in order to provide the requested rental services to you.

Amendments​
Please note that an amendment can be treated as a new booking and new rate can be applied at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of A2S. In addition to the alteration policy of A2S as stated in our terms, the following charges will apply in respect of our booking service relating to that amendment: Rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): 25.00EUR.​ The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive​
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A2S can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements.

Payment information
